School funding revenue

CPS funding must increase enough to be regionally competitive on pay and staffing, but the revenue plan should be honest.

Policy targets

• Move CPS teacher pay to at least second in the region.
• Fund neighborhood schools and avoid closure plans without public analysis.
• Model tradeoffs clearly: resident relief, commercial contribution, and total CPS need.
